What’s the meaning behind this story?
Artist J. Cole drops his album Born Sinner this past summer and everyone loves his material. Recently he illustrates is hit single “Crooked Smile ft. TLC” as a story line throughout the entire video, paying respect to the death of 7-year-old Aiyana Stanley-Jones. A young girl who was shot and killed during a police raid on her house in Detroit, Michigan back in 2010. Cole uses this time to send a message about the government’s war on drugs including efforts to make emphasis on the killed victims.
