It’s called ‘March Madness’ For A Reason!

March Madness is here and in full effect. Who’s bracket is still alive? According to ESPN, once Dayton beat Ohio State more than 80% of the brackets made were done for! Goes to show that you never know what will happen. I think I’m done trying to win bets this year. Lol

Anyway, I love that President Barack Obama doesn’t mind filling out a bracket. It’s the sixth straight year that the president has participated in what ESPN calls “Barack-etology.” He’s picked Michigan State to win the NCAA men’s basketball championship over defending champion Louisville – now accepting the fact that most of his bracket has been destroyed by the recent face-offs.

From ESPN:

The President has picked three different teams in the “Barack-etology” era to win the men’s title — Indiana (over Louisville in 2013), Kansas (over Ohio State in 2011 and Kentucky in 2010) and North Carolina (over Kentucky in 2012 and Louisville in 2009). His correctly picked national champion was the Tar Heels in ’09.

Last year Obama’s men’s bracket ranked 2,080,996 out of 8.15 million entries in’s free ESPN Men’s Tournament Challenge, placing him in the 74.4th percentile.

President Obama might not have to much luck in creating the best bracket, but Michigan State has a good chance in playing in the championship game. Notice I didn’t say that would win. I’m a die hard Cardinals fan and I can see the team running it back for another championship! I must admit that the way this year’s tournament is set up has me biting my nails. These games have been crazy.

The Louisville Cardinals play their RIVAL the Kentucky Wildcats on Friday. This win will advance one of the teams into the Elite 8. Gooooo Cards! Friday is going to be too intense for me. Pray my strength.
